Mango rice is a traditional rice dish of Andhra that is
nourished during Ugadi/ Telugu New Year. This is also a usual summer dish when
we find plenty of mangoes during summer season.
This Rice is prepared using ripe mangoes and rice which has
unique tangy taste and with aromatic tempering of peanuts, green chillies, red
chillies, curry leaves. I love this Rice
I learnt this recipe from my friend Tulasi. Simple and very
easy to make which is usually prepared during festival season.
